The hotel staff was excellent. They spoke both French and English. They helped me arrange for my airport transportation which was efficient. Although located near the St. Lazare Train and Metro Stations, the room was soundproof. My sister and I had a view of a park, walking distance to Metro, Train Station, Buses, and cafes. We were able to get to all of our locations easily for sightseeing and shopping. Althought the room was small, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was modern, and the entire hotel was clean and bright. We were able to control the room temperature via airconditioning or windows. Having the scale available to weigh baggage was terrific! Elevator worked great. Having WiFi was also great. Excellent service for price.
Please add computer access for guests to print out boarding passes and availablity to charge cell phones via an adaptor or connection to computer. I had to borrow an adapter from another guest because the one we brought was for another style of outlet. If breakfast had gone until 10:30, we would have made it. Instead, we had to head to local cafes.
It was in a central location, close to the train and bus terminals. The breakfast was fantastic.
We went on honeymoon and wanted somewhere comfortable and fairly central to stay. This hotel provided exactly what we wanted. It is minutes walk to Metro or to hop on hop off bus. With paris being so expensive this hotel was value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful. We wanted somewhere as a base for sightseeing and this was ideal.
The location was excellent! The price for Paris was unbeatable
Nothing...the size of the rooms is small but it is Paris and was cheap...can't wait to stay here again!
Location to metro. Staff at front desk very friendly and helpful
Uncomfortable beds and pillows for our taste. Lots of road street noise as we were on front of hotel and 1st floor
The room was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable.
The room was quite small, and there was no facility for storing luggage before or after check-out.
Room was small but clean and had good facilities such as tead & coffee, ample shower/bathroom with soaps etc. Room was serviced every day with fresh towels and supplies replaced. Just across the road from Gare Saint Lazare and within walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Breakfast was available for 10 Euros per person but we didn't have this as we chose to eat out.
Hotel was on a busy street with lots of traffic noise below. We found we couldn't have the window open at night but there was air con in the room. The bed was a bit firm and only a double size with one blanket and a heavy cover so you were either too hot with the cover or cold with just a blanket. The area of Saint Lazare is ok and we felt safe enough at night but we did notice that the area was quite dirty.
staff was friendly and useful, hotel very close to tube and buses
room a bit small but this is Paris...
The location was good
We paid what I would consider a lot for a 3 star hotel to be put in a very small room right next to the elevator which woke us every morning
The hotel is perfect for a weekend stay if you wish to explore Paris. It is in the very centre and within walking distance from most historical places, maybe, apart from the Eiffel tower, will take about 40 minutes to walk their. Also, a metro station is just around the corner and a RER station is 5 minutes away, so transfer from the airport is very convenient. Besides, there are many great cafes and restaurants for every budget in that area. The hotel itself is nice, rooms are well equipped (Wi-Fi, good shower, TV, kettle, international phone), the stuff are friendly and speak good English, which is rare in France.
It is on a quite a loud street, so if you're not used to city noise maybe it is worth looking for a different place. Also, rooms are in true Parisian style: very small but yet comfortable. It is not the place for a honeymoon. Don't expect a king size bed and a bubble bath.
The staff are very helpful. Services are good. They do clean up the room everyday during my stay there. The hotel is okay, I will recommend my friend if they visit Paris. The location is very ideal, just next to the St Lazare RER E station and the metro St Lazare station, very convenient for travelling purpose.
I think the room rate should include breakfast for all guests.
Extremely clean, good location. The reception people were kind and helpful--some speaking better English than others (for foreign travelers). We liked the free Internet but did no do the hotel breakfast because you can get something better for 10 euros for our taste (I neve actually looked atthe breakfast room). It was very simple, so it is probably a 3* because of the cleanliness.
I have not enjoyed staying at this hotel
The bed was comfortable and it was good to use a free wi-fi :)
I didn't have breakfast, but I think it's pretty expensive.
Close to the shopping belt and to the train stations
Uphill and tedious when lugging our bags!
